Slow Food Cycle Sunday

img_1495.jpg

In August we had an exciting cycling adventure through the Pemberton Valley, B.C. Slow Food Cycle Sunday, within the framework of the “The 100 Mile diet“, was a free 50 km bicycle ride through the Pemberton Meadows.

We rented bicycles in Pemberton and started our ride through the Pemberton Valley. About 1000 people, children and adults, cycled from one farm to farm. We learned about the work of the farmers and talked with them about organic and conventional crops. It was a day of adventure, physical exercise and enjoyment for us. As always, we took a lot of photos and returned home happy.
